Chris always loved music and at 12-years-old, he began to learn how to play folk songs on the guitar. “I learned how to play rock & pop songs from friends (Louie Louie!) and then got a Beatles song book & learned every song. In high school I started to study classical guitar and then went on to music school studying guitar & theory & composition.”
Jazz is Chris’s main musical interest, most specifically from the styles of the early 20th century to the 1960s. He also has a love for classical, country, bluegrass, blues, rock, pop, and classic r&b.
Chris’s main talents lay in guitar and voice, but he also plays banjo and bass guitar and a little piano/keyboard. He loves wedding gigs the most.
What makes Chris stand out from the music crowd is his wide range of styles: classical, jazz, pop, solo guitar, violin and guitar trios, classic r&b, jazz ensembles, bluegrass, country, dixieland, and Irish.
